Michael John Kewley, aged 42, of Farvane Close, Anagh Coar, Douglas, has pleaded not guilty to common assault and being drunk and disorderly.
He is yet to enter a plea to a charge of property damage.
The offences are alleged to have been committed on June 10 and June 11.
He was represented in court by duty advocate David Clegg.
A pre-trial review will be held in summary court on August 22.
Bail was granted in the sum of £500.
