Carol Morris, aged 76, of West Baldwin, has denied dangerous driving.
The offence is alleged to have been committed on June 12 on the A18 Mountain Road while Ms Morris was driving a Nissan Leaf.
She was represented in court by advocate Jim Travers.
A pre-trial review will be held in summary court on October 24.
Bail continues in the sum of £500.
