Lewis Anthony Martin, aged 21, of Stevenson Court, Douglas, has pleaded not guilty to drug-driving.
He is accused of driving while under the influence of cannabis and benzoylecgonine, which is a metabolite of cocaine.
The offences are alleged to have been committed on January 29.
A pre-trial review will be held in summary court on September 5.

Mr Martin was represented in court by advocate Ian Kermode.
Bail continues in the sum of £500.
