Phillip Ian Peel, aged 44, of Bircham Avenue, Ramsey, has denied driving under the influence of cannabis.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on January 14 at Circus Beach in Douglas.

He was represented in court by advocate David Reynolds.

A pre-trial review will be held in summary court on September 5.

Legal aid was granted subject to proof of income.

Bail continues in the sum of £500.
