David John Fallows, aged 54, of Station Road, St John’s, has pleaded not guilty to provoking behaviour.
The offence is alleged to have been committed on February 13.
A pre-trial review will be held in summary court on April 27.
He was represented in court by advocate Stephen Wood.
Bail was granted in the sum of £500 with conditions not to enter the address in Station Road, to live at a specified address in Peel, and not to contact witnesses.
