Curtis Davey, aged 18, of Birchleigh Close, Onchan, has been charged with having a vehicle in a dangerous condition.

The offence is alleged to have been committed on October 18.

He was represented by advocate Paul Rodgers who asked for an adjournment until April 13, saying that the defendant was a mechanic and wanted to scrutinise the alleged defects.

Bail was granted in the sum of £500.
