The demolition of the Strathallan horse tram depot is under way.
In Tynwald last month, Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer MHK described the depot as ’literally falling apart’.
The old depot has been standing since 1902 and the Department of Infrastructure said the replacement building will reflect its heritage status.
While the project is under way, the horse trams are being stored in the MER’s Derby Castle sheds and in other storage facilities.
