A Neon Night Walk in aid of St John Ambulance takes place tomorrow (Friday).

It’s been organised by Miss Isle of Man contestant Joy White who is encouraging people to dust off their tutus, dig out their luminous body paint and crack their glowsticks.

Signing in will start at B&Q car park at 11pm ahead of a warm up at 11.15pm. The 5km walk will start at 11.30pm. It will see participants walk along New Castletown Road to Quarterbridge before turning on to Peel Road, Lord Street and along Douglas seafront.

The walk ends at the sunken gardens, where finishers will be offered a glass of fizz or soft drink.

To register call Joy on 309695 or email [email protected] Entry costs £10. Registrations close at midday tomorrow.

â?¢ The 12 Miss Isle of Man contestants have raised more than £90,000 for their charities over the past four months.

The final takes place at the Villa Marina’s Royal Hall on Saturday evening.
