Ramsey Commissioners say the political drop-in session held at Ramsey Courthouse last month was a success and they were pleased so many people took the opportunity to attend and talk with elected representatives.
They plan to build on this by scheduling similar meetings throughout the year at the same venue.
The future of the Courthouse building is still under wraps, although there was a hint at the monthly board meeting that progress was being made.
Deputy town clerk Steven Bevan reported that an expression of interest had been received and that a deputation from the commissioners met with a representative of the interested party on February 12 and a future meeting is planned.
