Four Steam Packet sailings cancelled as Storm Bram brings gale force windsA dry and bright start with some sunshine but getting outbreaks of rain between about mid morning and early afternoon followed by just isolated showers as brighter intervals return. Top temperature just about 12°C, with the moderate southeast wind becoming fresher from the east for a while.
Showery bursts of rain tonight and on Friday morning, becoming dry and bright during the afternoon with sunny intervals. Then turning wet in the evening with stronger winds, the rain will be heavy at times and continuing overnight.
So, a wet start for Saturday but becoming dry and bright into the afternoon with spells of sunshine as stiff northwest winds gradually decrease. Temperatures only 10 or 11°C at best.
