The Met Office forecast for Friday: ‘Generally dry but cloudy for much of today with a fresh southwest wind at first which will decrease a little more this morning.

‘Temperatures up to 9 Celsius.

‘Clearing skies for a time this evening before outbreaks of rain develop overnight.

‘Mostly cloudy again tomorrow with a few outbreaks of rain at times, a moderate mainly southerly wind will fall light, temperatures 8 or 9 Celsius.’
