The weather forecast from the Met Office:
Today will be mostly dry but still rather cloudy, with a mainly moderate westerly wind and top temperature of 12 Celsius.
Rain will move in from the northwest later this evening, clearing to scattered showers during the early hours of tomorrow morning. The westerly wind will become strong and veer to the northwest as the rain clears, bringing colder conditions across the island with temperatures dropping near to 5 Celsius in many places.
A mixture of bright or sunny intervals and scattered showers tomorrow, moving through fairly quickly on the strong northwest wind. Feeling cold in the wind with highs of 9°C.
A few passing showers are still possible on Saturday, but otherwise it will be bright with some sunshine. Although feeling very cold in the strong northerly wind with temperatures only reaching 8°C at best.
