Easyjet has blamed equipment at Ronaldsway for the cancellation of a flight from Liverpool.
The budget airline told passengers via its website: ’We’re sorry that your flight has been cancelled. Due to an issue with de-icing equipment in Isle of Man we are unable to de-ice your plane.’
However, airport director Ann Reynolds told Isle of Man Newspapers: ’I am aware this flight was cancelled but I believe this reason to be incorrect.
’There was a small technical issue this morning with a machine but that took an hour, an hour and 20 at most.’
The flight had been due to land at Ronaldsway at 3pm, however the flight was cancelled at least two hours before this.
