EasyJet says it will continue with a limited schedule of flights in and out of Ronaldsway - despite grounding most of its fleet from today (Tuesday).
The budget airline announced on Friday evening that the majority of its aircraft would be grounded.
But it said it will maintain a minimal schedule of essential flights on some routes, mainly out of London.
It is understood that a limited service to Gatwick and Liverpool will continue until at least March 30.
There is a question mark over the Bristol and Belfast routes.
An easyJet spokesman said: ’Following an Isle of Man travel update, easyJet has been advised only island residents should travel to the island.
’We would advise passengers who are not residents not to travel as according to the advice they won’t be allowed entry.
Limited schedule
’EasyJet is currently operating a very limited schedule of flights which are mainly domestic including some flying to and from the Isle of Man.
’EasyJet has advised all affected passengers by email and text. Customers who are unable to travel have been given details of alternative options.’
He said circumstances were outside their control and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
BA Cityflyer will be operating an evening only service.
