Children from the Buchan School raised £985 for Comic Relief on the charity fundraising day.
Sue Mills, the school’s head of music, held a morning and afternoon concert with pupils.
She has held concerts ever since the fundraising event started.
The nursery and infant children performed and sang actions songs, while some of the junior children sang duets and performed on their instruments.
There were flute, violin and piano solos along with vocal performances by the juniors.
The infants sang their Guild solos and the Bluebird Choir sang the two pieces they will be performing at the Guild.
The afternoon’s entertainment was given by the juniors who performed all the Guild solos in groups.
This week’s Isle of Man Examiner has a two-page feature about fundraising for Comic Relief at other schools.
