University College Isle of Man will host an open evening on Thursday to allow potential students to learn more about its courses.
The college now provides more than 300 further education courses for a wide range of students, including school leavers to apprentices and those who want to retrain.
Subjects include art, design, media and music, access to education, business administration and IT, childcare, construction, computing, engineering, hairdressing and beauty therapy, health and social care, hospitality and catering, life and work skills and sport.
Principal Jo Pretty said: ’We believe that relevant education and training can support the island’s economic stability during these times by helping to develop the appropriate skills required to support local businesses.’
The evening takes place from 4pm to 7pm at the college’s Homefield Road campus in Douglas.
