All year seven (aged 11 and 12) pupils at St Ninian’s Lower School (Bemahague) should stay at home today.
So should everyone they live with.
The government instruction comes after a similar alert for year eight pupils yesterday.
The decision comes following work from the contact tracing team.
While most pupils should be at home anyway, key workers’ children are going to school.
In addition, all pupils in years three and four of Ballasalla School - as well as teaching and support staff at - are being asked to self-isolate and wait to be contacted by the COVID-111 service.
The school will therefore be closed today.
Any students who had been due to attend Ballasalla School should instead go to Scoill Phurt Le Moirrey in Port St Mary.
