Queen Elizabeth II High School students presented a showcase highlighting the freedom residents enjoy in the island and current world news through dance, drama and music.
The Freedom Showcase was staged over two evenings and included choral-speaking, ensemble dance, song writing, poetry, a UN Speech and songs.
A spokesman for the Peel school said: ’It was an opportunity for many of the students to perform for the first time and explore what freedom means to them.
’It was a night that allowed both the audience and students to reflect on some deeper topics and was well received by all who attended.’
The school thanked actor-in-residence Bryony Grant for her hard work.
