The Department of Infrastructure has said an emergency road closure is in force on the A3 Road.
It’s between Ballig and Ballacraine in German due to an unsafe tree which is threatening to fall on to the carriageway.
A team from the DoI is felling the tree today.
The Department say it’s anticipated the road will fully reopen before 12.30pm today.
Traffic is being diverted via the Poortown Road.
