Parker & Snell Company is set to stage a new and exciting dramatisation of Victor Hugo’s timeless classic, Les Misérables.

They will present a brand-new take on Victor Hugo’s literary masterpiece in a limited run at the Gaiety Theatre from November 20 to November 23, 2024.

The adaptation remains faithful to the heart of Victor Hugo’s novel, preserving the beloved characters and intricately woven plotlines that have captivated readers for generations.

Carl Parker, producer and writer, said that what makes this production ‘truly special is its innovative approach, promising to take the audience deeper into the complex world of these unforgettable characters’.

Carl said: ‘Les Misérables is a literary masterpiece, and our adaptation will breathe life into Hugo’s iconic characters on stage.

‘While it may not be the musical version, we are committed to delivering an authentic theatrical experience that will resonate with both fans of the novel and the musical.’

Carl added: ‘Audiences will be transported to 19th century France, where they will witness the struggles, hopes, and triumphs of characters like Jean Valjean, Javert, Cosette, and Eponine in an intimate and emotionally charged setting.

‘We want the audience to feel the raw emotions and moral dilemmas faced by these characters as if they were right there with them.’
