Two family-friendly productions are heading to the island this summer, bringing pop music and science spectaculars to the Villa Gaiety.
Taylor Swift fans are being invited to an evening of chart-topping hits when Taylor Fever comes to the venue for one night only on Saturday, August 8.
The tribute show has earned five-star reviews across the UK and Ireland, building a reputation as one of the country's leading Taylor Swift productions and offering entertainment for fans of all ages.
Featuring a cast of performers, choreography, lighting and stage effects, the production aims to recreate the atmosphere of a live Taylor Swift concert.
Audiences can expect to sing along to favourites including Shake It Off and Cruel Summer, alongside songs spanning the singer's award-winning career. Doors open at 5.45pm, with the show starting at 6.30pm.
The theatre will then swap pop music for science on Sunday, September 6, when Ministry of Science Live arrives with an afternoon of interactive experiments.
Direct from London's West End, the family show combines education and entertainment through a series of demonstrations designed to inspire curious minds.
There will be two performances at the Villa Gaiety, giving budding scientists plenty of opportunity to attend. The first begins at 11.30am, followed by a second performance at 3.30pm.
Audiences will see liquid nitrogen clouds, exploding hydrogen and oxygen balloons, fire tornadoes, bottle rockets, ignited methane and even a self-built hovercraft.
Suitable for all ages, the production aims to make science engaging and accessible while explaining the principles behind each experiment.
