Estate agency Carter Moon is to shut next week.

The business, which is based on Victoria Street in Douglas, is closing with managing director Phil Carter semi-retiring.

A statement said: 'It is with a heavy heart that Carter Moon will be closing its doors from next week.

'It has not been an easy decision but Phil has now decided to take a step back into semi-retirement.

'We would like to reassure existing clients you will still get the same personal service until your sale fully completes.

'We would like to thank all clients and friends for their support and business over the last nine years. We have met some wonderful people over the years and have valued every single client.'
