Mannin Cancers had been due to host the biggest gathering of bikers dressed as Evel Knievel in the world in April, with riders from the UK and further afield coming to the island in support - but unfortunately due to the lockdown this could not go ahead.
Instead, 15 Manx-based Evel Knievels came out three months later on Sunday to participate in the ride.
The Manx Knievels started from the Grandstand and with permission from the police were escorted by the members of the Moddey Dhoo motorcycle club until they arrived at Sarah’s Cottage corner. There was even a Booby Bear on a trike.
The total raised by the ride so far stands at £9,000.
Mannin Cancers Support Group helps the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group. It was formed in early 2019 to raise money for diagnostic equipment for prostate cancer.
