Expert advice is needed to protect the land and paths on Peel Hill, Peel Commissioners agreed.

The issue was discussed at the authority’s latest meeting. Commissioner Hazel Hannan said: ’I was heartbroken at the sight of the whole path which is badly damaged.

’We need to get some experts to give us advice on it. It’s one of our star features of Peel with people walking up on a regular basis.’
