Extra freight sailings are being provided by the Steam Packet over the next 24 hours - after supplies of goods were hit by bad weather.
The freighter MV Arrow will run a return trip between Douglas and Heysham to ensure goods are brought to the island after poor weather earlier this week led to the cancellation of a number of sailings.
Chief Executive Mark Woodward explained: ‘We have, of course, been in close contact with our freight customers over the last few days.
‘The MV Arrow provides ideal back-up capability and an extra degree of support which will allow us to catch up on bringing freight across to the island following the recent disruption to our services.’
