The ’Festival of Trees’ is returning to Ramsey for another year as the town gets into the festive spirit.
Charities, community groups, sports clubs and businesses have created and decorated Christmas trees which are now going on display in the Town Hall.
It is the third year the exhibition has been held.
Chairman of Ramsey Commissioners Andy Cowie said: ’It’s a nice little demonstration, it gets a lot of people from all across the community involved.
’They have entries from football and rugby clubs, charities, schools, and they’re always very entertaining.
’There’s always some particularly amusing ones, and some have had some tremendous work put into them.
’It’s nice to go into the town hall and have a look around, and we’ll be raising money for some local charities as well.’
The trees will be on show until January 3.
Meanwhile, the traditional Ronaldsway airport Festival of Trees will this year be held virtually, due to Covid-19 restrictions at the airport.
Save the Children has organised the festival at the airport for the past 18 years, and highlights from previous years can be viewed at: festivaloftrees.im
