Port Erin kicks starts its festive season with a day of Christmas events on Saturday, December 5.
Festivities take place across the village throughout the day.
Donations are appreciated for the ’Gift of Giving’ at the Railway Station with the contributions going to the MSPCA, Mann Cat Sanctuary and Foodbank.
Live entertainment will be provided at the station from 12pm, including performances from Southern Belles and The White Boys.
Santa will make a special appearance from 1.30pm and a post box will provide children with the opportunity to send their letters to the North Pole.
Rushen Silver Band are scheduled to play at 2pm and the entertainment at the Railway Station will conclude with a performance from the Peel Handbell Ringers at 3pm.
You can finish the day at the Methodist Church with a reading of ’The Real Christmas Story’ from the Giant Nativity Puppets and music from Meadowside Choral Society at 5pm.
This event is suitable for all ages and no admission charge is required.
Other events around the town include a Festival of Alternative Christmas Trees at the Methodist Church from 12pm till 5pm and two craft fairs at the Erin Arts Centre and at St Catherine’s Hall.
Event organisers said: ’It has been an odd year for all of us so please come down and help with our "Gift of Giving" by supporting us, our entertainers and those trying to raise funds for their own purposes, after a very challenging time.’
