A local writer and image maker has been invited to take part in a national film festival next week.
Award-winning poet, photographer and film maker Janet Lees has been selected to screen some of her films at the two-week Lomond film festival, held in Scotland.
Janet was selected as a chosen creative film maker, in a festival slot held to honour the trailblazing Scottish film maker Margaret Tait.
Janet will screen a selection of her film poems, a series of short pieces of films which reflect her poetry, on Wednesday, July 24.
