Firefighters dealt with a fire Cammall Farm, Kirk Michael, this morning.

They believe it started in the boiler room, where it was confined.

Crews employed three teams in breathing apparatus, a hose reel and thermal image cameras.

One appliance stayed there for about three hours damping down and checking the roof of the boiler room for hot spots.

The door to the boiler room was shut which prevented fire spread throughout the building.
