The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for frost and ice and police are warning of difficult driving conditions.

The forecast:

A dry but often cloudy day. Light winds and top temperatures of 8 Celsius.

Dry and cloudy again on Friday with a freshening south-easterly wind, top temperatures of 7 Celsius.

Saturday will be cloudy but dry during the morning, with outbreaks of rain developing for the afternoon, fresh south-easterly winds and highs of 8 Celsius.
