Cyclists will visit the Isle of Man tomorrow (Wednesday) to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Their route takes them from Liverpool to Shrewsbury, and in between they are visiting the Isle of Man, the Lake District and North Wales.
On Wednesday they will be cycling a from Ballasalla to Castletown, via Port Erin to the Laxey Wheel and then back to Douglas, and on this stretch of their trip all money raised will be donated to Alzheimer’s Society (IOM) to be used to support people affected by dementia on the Isle of Man.
Organiser Virginia Bailey welcomes anyone on the island to join them for all, or part, of the Isle of Man stretch and they’ll be carrying buckets so that people can donate any spare change on the route.
To participate or make a contribution call the local Alzheimer’s Society office on 613181 or call into the office on the third floor of Tower House in Douglas.
