A well-known farmer from the west of the island - Geoffrey Quirk - of Ballaquine (midway between Devil’s Elbow and Kirk Michael), passed away last week and his funeral is tomorrow in Kirk Michael.

People who knew him are asked to line the route to pay their respects. The cortege will leave Ballaquine at 10.50am, but it is a private ceremony.
