A Port Erin resident swam 6,639metres from Castletown Harbour to Gansey Pottery to represent 6,639 lives lost due to suicide annually in the UK.
George Blackwell, aged 20, has raised more than £6,000 towards Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) through his efforts to bring more awareness to the sensitive issue.
His swim was supported by Ascentiom Professional Recruitment.
George will continue to raise money before taking on the Ironman challenge in the UK next year.
