There’s a new band knocking around this week, in the shape of alternative rockers The Tinkermen.

They feature singers and guitarists Dom Scaddan, Ryan Archibald and Mike Willmott, with Jordan Edge on bass and Dan Mills on drums, and play a selection of originals and covers influenced by the likes of Catfish and The Bottlemen, The Amazons, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, and more.

They will be on stage at Quids Inn on Saturday night.

Elsewhere, Post War Stories, are live at Compton Vaults on Saturday with support from Suzy Manton.

And it looks like the weather gods will be kind to the Deep South Festival this weekend. Hopefully Eugene Wilson, Chris Sterio, on Friday, and Switch, on Saturday, will have the sun on their backs.
