Five weeks after Hop tu Naa, a turnip carver was this week given prizes for her work.
Grainne Kermode from Castletown carved her award-winner in just over an hour.
She scooped out with a spoon.
It impressed the judges for the ingenuity of the silhouetted cat and the indented moon and stars.
Organised by Culture Vannin, the Post Office and Year of Our Island, the competition boasted prizes including two season passes for the Isle of Man Railways, limited edition Hop tu Naa T-shirts, 50 stamps, and a selection of books and CDs.
