The Manx Bat Group is to mark ’International Bat Night’ tomorrow (Saturday).

Members will be looking out and listening for bats around The Raggatt near Peel.

They say they can expect to encounter several species of bat (and probably lots of moths too for moth fans).

The walk will last about 1.5 hours and start at 8pm.

Under 16s are welcome but must come with an adult but remember that it will be late and dark, so it may not be suitable for younger children.

There will be an introductory talk before the walk and bat detectors will be available for loan for the evening.
