Health Minister David Ashford has hailed the benefits of reading the Isle of Man Courier for those left isolated by stay at home Covid restrictions.
He made the comment as he spoke at a press briefing on Wednesday.
Mr Ashford was giving a ’shout out’ to all those with the Youth Service who have been helping deliver the Courier across the island.
He said: ’Many in our community don’t have, or can’t use, internet access and so still rely on the printed media.
’Thank you to all those helping keep those residents informed.’
Mr Ashford also gave a ’shout out’ to Peel Support Group, which is currently providing online pilates classes and to Corinthians Football Club who has given a £1,000 donation to Isle of Man Food Bank - and wanted to ’show Covid-19 the red card very soon’.
’Thank you to everyone who is rising to the challenge on behalf of our nation.’
