Another person has died with coronavirus in the Isle of Man.

This brings the total number of people who’ve died from the virus to 68 since the start of the pandemic.

The death was confirmed in the latest government surveillance report.

The daily update dashboard shows there are now 2,706 active cases of coronavirus in the island.

Of these cases, 2,301 were confirmed via LFT and 405 via PCR.

This represents a significant fall of 136 cases overnight.

On Wednesday (December 5), there were 2,842 cases in the island.

Of these cases, 2,446 were confirmed via LFT and 396 via PCR.

There are currently 10 people in hospital with the virus.

One person has been moved into the ICU overnight.
