Tynwald’s public accounts committee will hear evidence from Taxa Genomics Ltd on Thursday, April 1, at 2.30pm.
Chief scientific officer Dr Rachel Glover will appear before members as part of the committee’s inquiry into the use of genomic sequencing in response to the Covid-19 pandemic on the island.
Evidence will be taken virtually and the Legislative Buildings remain closed to the public during lockdown.
The proceedings can be heard via the ’live and listen again’ audio web cast service on the Tynwald website.
Members of the public accounts committee are Juan Watterson SHK (chair), Lawrie Hooper MHK (vice-chair), Jane Poole Wilson MLC, Clare Barber MHK,Ms Julie Edge MHK and Chris Robertshaw MHK.
Mrs Barber, as a political member for the Department of Health and Social Care, has excluded herself from this inquiry.
