Davison’s ice cream parlour in Peel will reopen tomorrow (Saturday) for the first time since Covid restrictions were imposeed.
Only take-away ice creams, lollies and drinks will be on sale.
Davison’s announced on Facebook that tomorrow’s reopening followed lengthy discussions and was made possible due to the layout of the parlour.
Strict measures will be in place to protect staff and customers.
Only two individual customers or groups of the same family will be allowed into the shop at any one time.
Once you’ve got your ice cream you are not allowed to sit on the benches on the prom to eat it - you must either move back to your car or go for a walk along the prom.
’We are doing this on a trial basis and if we feel people are abusing the guidelines in place by the government we will make no hesitation in closing the shop again,’ the Davison’s team said on Facebook.
