Manx Care has announced amendments to the community pharmacy Christmas rota.

The main changes relate to Boxing Day.

Shoprite in Douglas and Ramsey will be closed on Boxing Day, which means the pharmacies who operate in those stores are unable to open.

Lloyds have agreed to open Woodbourne Road in Douglas and Parliament Street in Ramsey from 10am to 2pm to cover.

On Christmas Day (Saturday, December 25) the following pharmacies will be available:

lLloyds, Woodbourne Road, Douglas - 12pm - 1pm

lLloyds, Parliament Street, Ramsey - 12pm - 1pm

lClear, Michael Street, Peel - 12pm - 1pm

On Boxing Day (Sunday, December 26) the following will be open:

lBoots, Strand Street, Douglas - 10am - 4.30pm

l Lloyds, Woodbourne Road, Douglas - 10am - 2pm

l Clear, Bay View Road, Port St Mary - 12pm - 1pm

l Cowley’s, Atholl Place, Peel - 12pm - 1pm

lp Lloyds, Parliament Street, Ramsey - 10am - 2pm
