Onchan Primary School has been contacted by the Covid-111 service after some positive cases were recorded in students.
The school advised parents and carers of pupils there to keep children who are displaying symptoms of the virus at home.
Posting on the Onchan Primary Facebook, they said: ’Dear parents and carers, I have been made aware of some positive cases of Covid-19 amongst our students by contact tracing.
’Having spoken with contact tracing today they have asked me to communicate to parents that whilst we are all staying safe at home under the current circuit breaker, anybody who feels they may have any symptoms should remain indoors and call 111.
’Contact tracing will reach out directly to anybody they feel may be a high risk.’
