A new case of Covid-19 has been identified in the island.

The latest figures released at 4pm show there have now been 369 confirmed cases.

At present there are 10 active cases, nine of which are in people who are self-isolating and one person who remains in hospital.

The individual was already self-isolating for 14 days as they were a close contact of someone who tested positive for the virus in the recent cluster of cases. Their period of isolation has now been extended by a further 14 days.

A further 12 people are awaiting results and 42 people are awaiting tests.

Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 25 residents have lost their lives to the virus.
