There has been on new confirmed case of Covid-19 in the island since yesterday.

Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford confirmed that the number of confirmed cases stands at 327, with 41 active cases.

So far there have been 3,576 tests taken with 3,397 tests returned, leaving 79 people awaiting test results and one person awaiting a test.

There are 19 people currently being treated at the Noble’s Hospital.

Mr Ashford also confirmed that the way the statistics has been changed following feedback from the public.

Rather than confirming the number of presumed recovered, residents told the government they wanted to know how many active cases there are in the island, which is what they will now do. The number of presumed recovered residents will continue to be recorded.

The number of deaths in the island from Covid-19 remains at 23.
