Three new Covid cases have been detected - but the island remains free of the virus in the community.

All three new cases were already in self-isolation and became symptomatic during their time in quarantine.

Two are residents who had travelled across and the third had been allowed to visit the island on compassionate grounds.

This takes the total number of active cases to four.

The tally of Covid cases since the virus first arrived in the island in March now stands at 373.

A total of 19,564 tests have been carried out with one test result awaited. A further 41 are awaiting a test.

Coronavirus has claimed 25 lives in the island, seven in hospital and 18 in the community.
