There have been two new cases of Covid-19 in the Isle of Man.
Figures released by the government this afternoon say that there are now seven active cases involving isolating individuals.
The latest two cases were identified through the contact tracing process and relate to an existing Covid-19 case that arose from off-island travel.
As all seven of the island’s active cases have a clear, traceable chain of transmission related to off-island travel, the government says these do not count as community transmission as defined by the World Health Organisation.
Contact tracing has been completed although some test results from high risk contacts are still awaited.
There are currently no cases in hospital.
Nine people are awaiting results. Seventeen are awaiting tests.
Since the pandemic began, 17,001 tests have been carried out.
