Health Minister David Ashford has said the department will look at ’prick less’ monitoring of type one diabetes.

He confirmed to the social affairs policy review committee that he has met with Monitor4Kids, who want to see an end to finger prick testing for children.

Mr Ashford the monitors will cost £60 and the sensors £60 which last about two weeks.
