Fantastical and exotic body art designs will be on show on Saturday at a Laxey-based community centre.

Mother T’s, based on New road, in Laxey, will hold a Henna day, featuring an island based henna design artist, Anumeha Kumar.

Henna is a nonpermanent dye that stains the skin with a dark brown pigment, and is often used in ceremonial occasions.

Anumeha is open for taking bookings throughout Saturday, and appointments can be made by contacting Anumeha on 315503 or through her Facebook page ’Henna For You’.

The Henna day will run from 10.30am until 4pm
