An exciting display of artistic creation, flair and innovation has gone on display at Peel's Queen Elizabeth II High School.

The exhibition features work produced by students of both the A-level and the GCSE course at the school, and Vicky Blackburn, the head of art and design at the school, believes it displays both the hard work and energy put in by the students over the year, and also the creative enthusiasm and talent on offer.

’We have a very good show this year,’ said Vicky.

’The students have worked very hard with a wide range of materials, and have covered a lot of different styles.

’This mix of mediums was very evident in the range of 3D designs, made using found objects.’

Adrian Cowin, art design and media course leader from the University College Isle of Man interviewed students for placements at the college.
