The first-ever Hospice Isle of Man electric bicycle draw winner took home a bike worth over £6,300.
The charity teamed up with Cycle 360 to provide the prize. Tickets cost £15.
Winner Anthony Fergusson, from Ramsey, received a new Turbo Levo Comp 2021 e-Bike.
He said: ’It just goes to show you’ve got to be in it to win it, especially when it’s for such an awesome cause.’
The presentation of the prize took place on Peel Hill where a mountain biking challenge sponsored by Cycle 360 will be held in August.
Melanie Kermeen, director of income development and relationships at Hospice, said: ’The last 12 months have been a period of continued uncertainty which has made fundraising very challenging. Our draws have provided an important source of income that helps us to continue to deliver our services into the community.’
All funds raised from the draw will go towards Hospice, supporting the people of the island to live well, their way, to the end of their life.
The draw ran between February and May.
